Kurrawa take top honours winning the double (Suri Alpaca and Suri Fleece) at the AAA National Show 2009.

Kurrawa had a wonderful end to our show season. We started off the year winning Supreme Suri at Canberra Royal then continued on to take out the Supreme Suri at Sydney Royal, Bendigo Sheep Show, Alpaca Fest, Hamilton Sheep Vention and finishing off on a high with Kurrawa Tariq ET winning the Supreme at the National. We are very pleased to finish the National Show with 3 Champions and two Reserve Champions, Supreme Champion Suri and Supreme Champion Suri Fleece from a small but consistant show team. We would like to thank all of our helpers for your support over the last year.

Kurrawa Jahli ET Accepted In The Australian Alpaca Association National Auction.

Jahli's pedigree needs no introduction with both parents AAA Champions.
This combination has consistently produced broad ribbon winners at all Major Royals & National Shows.
Joanna's bloodlines would be an asset to any suri breeder, she has produced many Supreme Champions for Kurrawa. Jahli is the last Joanna daughter to be offered for sale.
She has stunning presence, fineness, lock structure, lustre and density to have won Champions and Supreme Champion in the show ring.
Jahli is mated to Jolimont Accoyo Miquel who's progeny are proving themselves in the showring with many Champions & Supreme Champions. Miquel is pure Accoyo so this cria will be an asset to any stud wishing to advance their breeding program.

AOBA World Fleece Show 2009

Kurrawa was successful at the World Fleece Show held in Cleveland Ohio, USA. Kurrawa Shavari ET won the white suri male colour championship and we also won the award for the highest point score for a first time suri exhibitor.

 

Alpaca Fest 2009

Another very successful outing for the Kurrawa suri show team with 4 Championships and the Supreme with Kurrawa Airs n Graces ET. The Champion Suri Fleece was won by Kurrawa Jianna ET.

 

Bendigo Sheep & Wool Show 2009

Against strong competition at the Bendigo Sheep & Wool Show the Kurrawa suri show team took home 4 Championships, 3 Reserve Championships and the Supreme went to Kurrawa Airs N Graces ET. It was Kurrawa Tariq's babies first outings and we were not disapointed in their results with them winning Champion and Reserve Champion Junior Female Suri and Champion Junior Suri Male. Our male Jolimont Accoyo Miquel's progeny won the progeny group and we were also pleased to take home the Champion Suri Fleece.

 

Kurrawa Suri Show Team On Top AT Sydney Royal Easter Show 2009

We decided to make the long journey this year to Sydney as we rate Sydney Royal as one of the best shows in Australia. It was worth the trip, we came away with 6 Championships, 2 Reserve Championships and the Supreme Champion Suri. This Supreme is one we were very exited about. It was won by Kurrawa Tariq ET in his 3rd fleece. He is still displaying the Suri attributes of a younger animal. Our stud male Jolimont Accoyo Miquel won the sires progeny group. Kurrawa Jianna ET won a Championship in the fleece section and we were also awarded Most Successful Suri Exhibitor.

Our Suri Team took out 6 Championships, 4 Reserve Championships and the Supreme with Kurrawa Airs 'N' Graces ET. We have full sisters for sale to Airs n Graces. The progeny group was won by our stud male Jolimont Accoyo Miquel.
